We’re proud to announce that Chab Events, in collaboration with Maise, has been awarded Bronze in the Experiential – Fashion & Beauty category at The Drum Awards for Marketing APAC 2024 for the Shiseido Skytopia campaign.
Even more notably,Skytopiawas the only project recognized in the Metaverse subcategory, reinforcing our belief that when creativity meets strategy, technology becomes more than a tool, it becomes a place of emotional connection.
Created for Shiseido Asia Pacific, Skytopia was a gamified virtual destination that blended ritual, wellness, and imagination into a fully branded metaverse experience. The campaign sought to explore beauty beyond the product, anchoring Shiseido’s brand values in a future-forward format that could resonate with the digitally curious and emotionally driven consumer.
More than an activation, it was a reimagination of what a beauty brand can stand for in the Web3 era.
Winning at The Drum Awards is no small feat. Judged by a panel of leading marketing decision-makers, the 2024 APAC competition saw entries from brands and agencies including DBS, Changi Airport, Binance, Accenture Song, and Havas. Our selection among them is a powerful testament to the innovation and depth of this project.
